Dozens of local area residents gathered on June 13, 2017 in the Hospice gardens to celebrate ARCH Expansion ground breaking. At 4,800 square feet, the addition will allow ARCH the opportunity to grow existing programming and add new services to better serve local families.

The event provided an opportunity to thank generous supporters and donors who helped raise the $3 million needed for construction in record time!

Theresa Mudge, ARCH Hospice Executive Director, and Marie Paluzzi, ARCH Hospice Board of Directors Chair, spoke of thanking the community for coming together.

An excavator was on site where the ARCH Expansion will extend to.

G. Verdi & Princess Marie Jose Lodges donated $25,000 towards the Why it Matters campaign for the bariatric care program as part of expansion.

Nearly one hundred supporters celebrated and thanked the community for making expansion a reality so quickly.

Longtime supporters and volunteers Dale, Lucy and Diane joined us for the Ground Breaking Ceremony on June 13.

Delicious appetizers and homemade punches were served up by Julie Premo, Manager of Support Services.

Ontario Trillium Foundation provided a $51,400 grant towards ARCH Expansion.

Project Dragonfly worked with its members for ARCH Expansion, including hosting the Winmar Golf Tournament and selling tickets for the Dragonfly Draw.

Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation contributed $1,000,000 in funding towards the 4,800 square foot expansion.

Supporters, donors, and volunteers all had a chance to meet one another on this joyous day.

Volunteer Mark Caccamo and Owner's Representative and Manager of Operations, Nicole Pearce, worked with the EPOH architects to design the space.
