ARCH Hospice is a registered charity that specializes in providing compassionate end-of-life care to Algoma District residents and their families. Our nurses, care staff, physicians and trained volunteers provide 24-hour comfort for residents and support for families in a home-like setting. Our team of professionals ensures that all of the resident’s and family’s emotional, physical, spiritual and religious needs are met during this important journey.
Approximately 50 percent of ARCH’s annual operating costs are not covered by our health care system and must be funded through community donations. We appreciate the support of the community, our partner organizations and the support of the Ontario Government.

|The Annual Hospice Golf Classic is an ARCH Hospice run event that raises over $30,000 each year. This fun, scramble-style tournament is composed of teams of four and has women's, mixed, and men's divisions. Golfers pay $150 or raise $200 in pledges to register, which includes: golf cart rental, three delicious meals, 18 holes of golf, golfer's gift and a chance to win great prizes. A combination of young-at-heart golfers and generous sponsors makes this sell-out tournament an annual highlight.||The RBC Hike for Hospice is a new ARCH event that is growing each year. Bring the whole family to enjoy a beautiful hike around Crystal Clear Lake in Hiawatha, and Memorial Trail on the falls featuring loved ones who have passed. Afterwards, the Celebration fo Life includes a M&M's BBQ, entertainment and activities for the whole family, live music and Balloon Release. Registration is $25 in pledges. Raising $100 gets you an ARCH t-shirt and $150 means you also receive an ARCH travel mug.|

"I want to thank you for all that you did for my mother and for me during her short stay with you. What an amazing place, and what amazing people you are! I cannot tell you enough how grateful we are that Mom's final days were spent with such kind, caring people. Mom led a long, happy, full life, but she was ready to go, and we thank you for helping her make a peaceful transition to whatever the next stage is. I hope other families can continue to experience the caring and kindness we did."
